Before I get into details I would like to share with you as a network and server administrator what I do and why.
Like many I have seen many virus and privacy attacks. Some were direct attacks while others were passive attacks via advertising.
Over the years (1995-) I developed an attitude against site advertisements but at the same time I know they are what keeps the internet free in a sort of odd way.
Advertisements aren't the actually evil but rather those that run data collection within the advertisements. Those companies are who collect and sell your data. Not many websites actually collect your data and sell it that are smaller than a few million visitors daily.
To help prevent unauthorized cookie and data collection while you are visiting this site we implemented a security feature that basically will not allow any collection of information if not approved first.
Content Security Policy The HTTP Content-Security-Policy response header allows us at TruckAndTools.Com to control resources the user agent is allowed to load for a given page. What that means is this, we are able to screen hundreds of 3rd party connections before your page has finished loading. We block scripts, connections, cookies from all outside advertisement firms that are not working 100% pass-through with our main advertiser which is Google Inc. Our Content Security Policy blocks scripts, cookies, html, injection of just about anything that doesn't come directly from our server or Sir Google Inc. main advertising push servers. This helps guard against cross-site scripting attacks (Cross-site scripting) which for many of you means one less malware risk, spyware doesn't get loaded and viruses are reduced. The internet is a place where websites earn trust and then we monitor them anyway, because after all, it's the internet.
Getting down to facts that may not be shared by other websites possibly because they just don't know how things work online.
We offer two types of advertising, internal and external. Internal ads are paid member ads and external ads are generated from Google ad servers.
Our internal ads do not use cookies or tracking. Our advertisements are in a rotational process with priority when within the section the advertisement matches.
Google advertising cookies on the other hand are used with our consent and as part of our partnership with Google. We offer fixed and random spaces for Google generated advertisements.
The differences between how we show Google ads and how your local media site shows them is that we only allow connections from Google Domains and Servers in their control.
We do not allow 3rd party to Google Servers to track or set any type of cookie while you are at our site. We feel the risk of allowing a server not under our control and not under the control of Google Inc. is too high. My personal experiences can show that it's better to block all outside trackers and cookies from networks you cannot validate. To help your browser we block at our server level any connection outside our authorized list of allowed advertisement connections.
Google Partner's are not allowed to "Drop a Cookie" via our webpages. You can verify this within your browser network console.
Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website and other websites.
We block those third party vendors and allow only Google. We allow Google to use cookies and to display contact based on your Google settings.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings. (Alternatively, you can direct users to opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.)
If you have not opted out of third-party ad serving, the cookies of other third-party vendors or ad networks may also be used to serve ads on your site, which should also be disclosed in your privacy policy in the following manner:
Because of the thousands of ad networks that Google partners with it is impossible for us to share with you all of them and it is also impossible to block them based on who they are.
To simplify this issue of Unknown Advertisement Networks we simply choose to block all of them and allow exceptions that will be listed.
We want you to be able to build trust in us and our ability to assist you with your internet privacy. We may lose some sales revenue and earnings while we block select websites but it's a very low cost when comparing your privacy protection and our efforts to help you and others.
In the event we allow a network party to use cookies outside of the list we will list them as under an experimental period.
We server only Google Inc. Advertisements so your opt out settings and personalized advertising settings will be respected here.
You can opt-out of personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit our website. These companies may use information (not including your name, address, email address, or telephone number) about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that might be of interest to you. For the most part we all are legal to work in the USA. But many in the building industry are not legal or do not have permission to work within the borders of the USA.
When members sign up they are not asked if they are legal to work.
This is not a question we need to ask due to the fact it is a federal law.
If you as a member hire or contract someone that you suspect is not here legally or has workers that you feel are not who they say they are please visit our "How to report Illegal Workers and their Smugglers."
A drivers license or Social Security Card is not a Permission to work. It is a Birth Certificate, Work Visa or Resident Alien card
You have the right to ask and you have the right to say "No, I do not want to hire you."
Keep in mind if you can not communicate you can not have good quality work and you are creating an unsafe work environment if your workers can not understand your safety briefings.
